Marketing & Event Coordinator Finland – Temporary
Do you like working with marketing, events and people, and where no two days are quite the same? We are looking for a Marketing & Event Coordinator to join Easyfairs Finland on a temporary basis.
Are you creative, organised and someone who enjoys getting things done? Do you like working with marketing, events and people, where no two days are quite the same? We are looking for a Marketing & Event Coordinator to join Easyfairs Finland on a temporary basis, from as soon as possible until mid/late January 2027.
In this role, you will work with the FFCR Finland event team – supporting the planning and execution of FFCR Helsinki, a leading B2B expo for the HoReCa industry.
This is a hands-on coordinator role covering a mix of marketing, event coordination and customer communication. You’ll get involved in everything from creating social media content and marketing materials to updating event information, coordinating with speakers, answering to exhibitors and customers, and helping with practical event preparations.
The role is ideal for someone who can jump into an ongoing project, get up to speed quickly and take responsibility for their own tasks. You’ll have constant support from the team, but we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working independently and getting things moving.
What you’ll be doing
Your tasks will vary depending on what is needed, but will include:
Creating social media content, banners and other marketing materials
Writing and adapting simple marketing copy, for example for social media posts, newsletters and event communications
Creating visual materials in Canva and working within existing brand guidelines
Supporting the event team with day-to-day tasks. E.g. contacting vendors
Contacting to exhibitors by phone and email if needed
Providing friendly and professional customer service
Coordinating with speakers and supporting programme-related communication
Coordinating practical event-related tasks and keeping things moving
Helping with preparations before the event and practical tasks during the event
Being part of the onsite team at FFCR Helsinki
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who is:
In the early stage of your career, since this is an entry level position
Creative, organised and practical
Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility
Proactive and not afraid to pick up a task and get started
Comfortable communicating with customers, exhibitors and speakers by phone and email
Service-minded and confident in customer-facing situations
A good user of Canva with an eye for visual content
Interested in social media
Structured and able to keep track of several things at once
Flexible and comfortable when priorities change
Fluent in Finnish and comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken
Able to quickly understand an ongoing project and get up to speed
Some background in marketing, communications, events, business or a similar field is needed, but we’re also interested in your attitude, ability to learn and willingness to take responsibility.
Experience with social media tools and Canva is needed for succeeding in this role.
A varied role with plenty to do
This isn’t a role where you’ll be doing the same thing every day. You’ll get hands-on experience across marketing, event coordination and customer communication, working as part of the FFCR Finland event team.
You’ll join the team at an important stage in the FFCR Helsinki 2027 event cycle, so things will move quickly. You’ll have support when you need it, but you’ll also have the opportunity to take ownership and see the results of your work.
Where will you work?
The role is primarily remote, with regular team meetings in the Helsinki area. You will also work onsite at FFCR Helsinki at Messukeskus.
For this reason, we’d like you to be based in the Helsinki capital region.
What we offer
A varied temporary role with real responsibility
Hands-on experience in marketing and B2B events
The opportunity to work with a well-established event brand
A flexible remote working setup
A supportive team around you
The chance to be part of the full event journey – from marketing and preparations to the event itself
An international working environment with colleagues across the Nordic countries
